March 12, 20242 yr Hi all, I would like to assign a specific LVAR to a button on my Thrustmaster T16000m stick. Is my screenshot the correct way to do it ? In the device list I can't find my joystick nor any of my hardware equipement (except mouse, keyboard and voice) https://ibb.co/3rPmnXK Thank in advance for your help. Greg

Just press the button on the joystick. Edited March 12, 20242 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI

LVars require specific values and may also require certain processing logic. Normally you will have to write an RPN script to handle the LVar correctly. If you are lucky, it can be used directly - you can make AAO search for all currently active LVars using "Scripting->Read LVars from sim". After you can select it on the key down list on the button assignment. Just make sure that you set it to the correct value (the little box to the right) Edited March 12, 20242 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
March 12, 20242 yr Commercial Member When you are just starting out, the best approach is to look on flightsim.to for a script package and import that. For example, search for a StreamDeck profile for the Fenix that way made for AAO - those usually contain script XML files that you can import into AAO. The scripts will then be available in the key down/up selections as well. LORBY-SI
