March 25, 20242 yr For this trip, we fly along the Andes in the western provinces of Argentina. We depart from Malargue (SAMM), in the Province Mendoza. From here we head north and land at Mendoza’s airport El Plumerillo (SAME), San Juan (SANU), La Rioja (SANL), and Catamarca (SANC). Many pilgrims come to San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca to visit the Church of the Virgin of the Valley (1694), which contains a statue of Nuestra Señora del Valle (Our Lady of the Valley). Catamarca is also the tourist center of the province, with its colonial architecture, and serves as a hub for many tourist points and excursions, hiking, mountain bike tours, horse riding, and wine tasting. We land at Tucuman (SANT) before reaching today’s destination Salta (SASA). Aircraft: The flight has 700 miles and 5 landings, so we need to be very fast. Any Fighter Jet (or other aircraft) cruising at about 450 knots is suitable. I will probably be in the AV-8B Harrier, please fly what you like. Documentation:The flight plan is available here. There is one add-on that covers all airports for this flight. https://flightsim.to/file/1221/argentina We try real weather. Please set your simulator for a 09:00 am departure. These flights are events posted at DigitalThemePark and use DTP's Teamspeak Channel for communication. If you want to help others enjoy the multiplayer experience, don't forget to enter your aircraft details on the multiplayer spreadsheet (linked here). Please be kind enough to enter the title exactly as it stands in the title=”xxx” line of the aircraft.cfg file. Your courtesy will save others a lot of time and effort. Thanks! Note: With today, Europe has switched to Daylight Saving Time. So we are back to our usual starting times. The UTC reference time is 16:00 UTC. Regards Gunter Schneider
