when i move the mouse around..how do I stop that from showing up...kinda distracting.

What bearing and user distance?

There is one in the tooltip and one in the information window. These cannot be switched off but they are hardly distracting.

Ah, I see. No offense taken. In my opinion it's not soooo distracting since the tooltips show only a short time when hovering above map features.

I have no configuration options for tooltips, like the config for the progress window, sorry.
