April 22, 20242 yr This is the continuation of our Thailand flights. Today we want to cruise fast and low over Thailand. We depart from Bangkok‘s International Airport Suvarnabhumi (VTBS) and head southwest. On our way south along the Gulf of Thailand's shores we land at Hua Hin (VTBP), Chumphon (VTSE), and Samui (VTSM). Now we turn west again and land at Surat Thani (VTSB). We continue west, reach the Andaman Sea, and land at Phuket International (VTSP). Now we head southeast, land at Trang (VTST), and reach today‘s destination Hat Yai (VTSS). The flight has 640 miles and 7 landings. We want to cruise at about 400 knots. I will be in the IFE Panavia PA200 Tornado. As always, please fly what you like. The flightplans are here. These flights are events posted at DigitalThemePark and use DTP's Teamspeak Channel for communication. They start at 16:00 UTC. If you want to help others enjoy the multiplayer experience, don't forget to enter your aircraft details on the multiplayer spreadsheet (linked here). Please be kind enough to enter the title exactly as it stands in the title=”xxx” line of the aircraft.cfg file. Your courtesy will save others a lot of time and effort. Thanks! April 25, 20242 yr Sometimes good software understands why a pilot eschews studying the manual and just takes the new plane up for a quick pattern. And it then offers subtle encouragement to become more engaged. "I guess that you were trying to accelerate the retirement of this particular Tornado. If so...good job." --Mike MacKuen
