PMDG HGS brightness in P3D5.4

Two questions. Has anyone found a way to increase the HUD brightness in the NGXu in version five? Against a bright or hazy sky it's practically unusable. It doesn't seem to matter if EA is on or off.

It's been so long since I've used it in version 4 if I ever did, I can't remember if the same issue showed in V4. Can anyone with version 4 installed with the NGXu tell me if that's the case.

You can dig up the pmdg menu, there is entry with the adjustment of the displays in there. At PMDG Menu / options / simulation you will find a page #5 where this is controlled. You can change display brightness there. Mine is set to no adjustment. That is the brightest option.
