May 14, 20242 yr This is an odd one. I created a script to play several WAV files, and they all work fine. In particular, I have a switch on my Bravo throttle set up so when I click it up, the two-tone seat belt sound occurs. I have that same switch set so when I move it down, the single-tone sound occurs. Those work perfectly, along with the other five or six WAV files I've set up. What's strange is that when I do ANYTHING that takes me off of the main screen and return, the single-ding "seat belt off" WAV file sounds. I can be on the main screen and double click any of my Assigned Buttons and go into them to look, and when I click Save or Cancel, that WAV fires. It even happens when I open and close the Script Editor. When I delete the button that fires the seat belt WAV, the problem goes away. But when I add it back, every single time I leave the main screen and come back after clicking Save or Cancel after viewing or changing an Assigned Button, the tone goes off. Obviously it's not a critical problem because it's not stopping anything else from working, but it's just odd lol. Do you have any ideas what could be causing that? The setup is about as simple as it can be. Apparently I can't submit images, but I'll be glad to answer any questions you have. Thanks again for this incredible piece of software.
May 14, 20242 yr Author It also happens when I toggle the SimConnect button at the top of the app. When I reconnect, the WAV file plays. Also, it happens no matter what three planes I fly. Edited May 14, 20242 yr by CaptainDunsel
May 15, 20242 yr Commercial Member Sounds normal to me. Since both positions of the switch have been assigned wavs, every time AAO reloads the config and reads the state of the switches, one of the wavs will play. And that reload happens a lot = every time that you potentially could have changed the config. LORBY-SI
May 15, 20242 yr Author OK, that makes sense, essentially it's just retriggering the action. Alright, I can deal with that. Thanks for the quick response.
