Xplane and Axis-and-ohs Newbie

Featured Replies

Hi

Ok, so been having issues with the default Saitek panels in Xplane and came across this piece of software, but now having issues getting it to work.

Xplane and AAO are installed on the same PC.

AAO installed and path set.

Xplane dataref network set as described in the manual.

The problem now comes that with Xplane running and the Cessna on the runway, I open AAO and click the "Connect" green dot. It now just hangs at "Waiting for Aircraft data" until the Demo time runs out.

Is there a setting not in the manual that I am missing? Do I have to check every item in the Dataref Read/Write window?

Kind Regards

Drew

No.

Things seem to have changed in XP12 again. I suppose that you need the "Network" tab now, set up the ports as required (49010. 49000, 49001) in the lower right corner and maybe activate "Accept incoming connections".

Did you install the XPlane variant of AAO? XPlane path has been set in the Application menu? Ports are OK?

Hi

Thank you for your reply.

Ok, I figured it out. I was testing it out on my office PC, so either Xplane or AAO doesn't like Domain computers. (Don't tell the boss 🙂 )  Works and connects fine on my actual sim at home. Now to do a ton of reading as the implementation and configuration seems rather complex to me.
