in the pmdg 737 when im flying my mfd is saying ynav spd instead of ynav pth,can anyone help me understand how to fix it or change it ?

VNAV SPD is being shown when you're so far off the vertical path that it will keep the FMS speed instead of trying to chase the path (and having to descend with -5000 FPM or something without asking the pilot first). In this case you have to go to level change with high speed (and speed brakes out) or VS mode to get back on path.

EDIT: Instead of using level change you can of course just hit the speed intervention button, select high speed, and stay in VNAV mode. Then it will keep the selected speed, basically doing the same as with level change.
