May 31, 20242 yr Hi all, I was flying the BS duke last night in cruise when suddenly the autopilot came off and the aircraft spiralled out of control into the ground. I hadn't touched anything and i didn't have any control to get out of the spin. This has only ever happened once before with the a2a comamche. Can anyone shed some light on what the cause may be? I'm using the honeycomb yoke and live weather. Thanks.
June 1, 20242 yr Which Honeycomb yoke? The first version used pots, which can get noisy. If the yoke is sending "full left/right" when it's centered, that can disconnect the autopilot and start it rolling. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

It's only a year or so old.
June 1, 20242 yr Is the red honeycomb detail on the front of the yoke an arch with solid black in the upper corners or does it stretch across the whole yoke? If it's got an arch, you have pots. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
