DLDSR not showing in Nvidia Control Panel

Best Image Quality and DLDSR hints often say to enable settings in DSR settings in Nvidia Control Panel

But what if DSR Factors is not appearing as an item to change in NCP? <===

You probably need to turn DSC off in your monitor's settings to get DSR Factors to appear in Nvidia Control Panel.

How to do it on my Dell monitor:

Del monitor on screen display (OSD) buttons.
left side, bottom row (Others)
DDC/CI  .... ON or OFF
Choose OFF
DSC will turn off. You may have to reboot the computer.
(Now DSR Factors should be shown in Nivida Control Panel). Otherwise, not.

That page will say to look for this in OSD display buttons:
Monitor menu → General → Input compatibility version
1.4 (DSC)  or  1.4  or 1.2.

Choose 1.4.

DSC will turn off. (You may have to reboot the computer).
(DSR Factors should now be shown in Nvidia Control Panel. Otherwise, not).

Other monitors.

It will be something like in the 2 examples above in your monitor OSD menu.

Often the default setting is DSC ON. You may need to change it to OFF for the DSR Factors line to appear in NVP
