Start - Event Viewer - Event Viewer (Local) - Expand the Error+ entry and find anything against Application Error relating to Prepar3D.

Copy and paste error details.

Marsha, you forgot to mention that you had an event viewer information that the g2d.dll module of your sim causes crash. Why you send that to me on the Discord and not sharing it here? There is so many P3D users that can help you figure out your issue with the sim.

I'll publish the text of the error you said to me so people to give suggestions.

I suggested this forum topic I found when I googled the error:

I know it does not lead to a solution, but we did trait sfc/scannow and DISM commands in command prompt in Windows. Also AFAIK Marsha uses G-force Experience which is a program that keeps the graphic drivers up to date.

I’ve never been a fan of installing P3D into the highly protected Program Files environment. Far better to keep it to C:\P3Dv5.

@marsha, if you have just a default installation with minimal or zero addons consider uninstalling and reinstall to the path above.

Windows is very protective of the Program Files area none more so that 11.

Marsha did not knew how to install P3D outside from Program files. So, I helped him to install it outside of the program files directory. After cleaning the previous registry. We can't install anywhere. It does not recognize the folder, installs everything in c drive without grouping the folder at all.

I think my friend has issue with Windows Explorer. Which makes me thing that Windows should be reinstalled. If you guys can give any advice on that, hope you help Marsha. I was thru here.
