The Asobo

The guy who made the popular "pushback toolbar" app on fs.to also makes a Shift-Z text based display. The same guy made it for FSX years ago. It has a text based options text to let you display whatever you want, leave out what you don't. And to make the readout size anything from teeny tiny to huge. And it also adds a hotkey to turn the Asobo cockpit cam HUD display on or off.

This app is accessed by an icon in the overhead toolbar of MSFS. One of the options is to display Lat Lon coordinates continuously, as you fly. Only the coordinates, or in combination with things like airspeed, altitude, heading, sim rate. It is very configurable. You can change the display colors.

When using this app, the < key is the hotkey to turn the Asobo mini HUD on and off. And Shift Z turns the app on, cycles through the displays, and turns the display off. 

I used his configuration tool to display HDG, Speed, and ALT on top line. Simrate and FPS on the second line.

 

And shift z brings up the next display which is just Fuel level in % and gallons.

Another shift Z turns all displays off.

A hotkey of < will cycle the Asobo mini Hud on and off (if you have the mini HUD turned on in Asobo Assistance options).

The one drawback is fps display is half of the Frame Generation fps. It reads 29.6. It's actually 59.2 (double). (I have fps locked at 60).

For instance text size I increased from 0.7em to 1.6em to make it readable.

Note all the display options in his list at the bottom: QNH, GForce, Wind direction and speed, etc.
