FSLTL messing with Simconnect/Sound?

I've recently started experiencing a weird issue where at the start of the flight, during the flightdeck prep I can see a lot of AI pushing back and taxiing to assigned runways. At the same time, all of my click sounds + other sounds in the PMDG's 738 are going away, the interface menus also. I restart traffic and everything is coming back to normal. Assuming it's FSLTL spamming the Simconnect with messages that it's causing some weirdness? Anyone else? 

I'm not all too worried about this because there's a workaround and BATC is on the verge of handing off the version with functioning traffic to the experimental branch, so I'm pretty pumped about that.
