FSX tweaks with SP1 and SP2?

Featured Replies

Hi all-Are all of the recommended (or mentioned) tweaks still valid with the implementation of SP1 and SP2? I just did a fresh install of FSX and the 2 service packs and wanted to know if these were still useful. Still got the blurries :>(Fiber frame fractionbufferpoolsmipbias=6etc.Thanks,Mark

To help my SP2 blurries I use: FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.40TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=45PoolSize=10000000

FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.40I think this setting was made redundant after SP1 if you have a multicore CPU.Glenn

>FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.40>>I think this setting was made redundant after SP1 if you have>a multicore CPU.>That may be possible, but this seems to be the one setting that actually reduces my blurries. I have not tested scientifically, but it sure seems to make a difference.
