December 22, 200718 yr Hello Ryan,I have your fix ready. It's a fairly simple edit of the aircraft.cfg file for the Bell 206B.Background:Each aircraft configuration file can define its own set of cameras. Some have more than others. The Bell 206B has quite a few. One of them, the "Nose" camera, is pointing in the wrong direction. It should be in front, just off to the side, and pointing at the aircrafts center of gravity. The camera definition in the aircraft configuration file has an error. Here are the steps to fix it (assumes default installation and SP2):1) Using Windows Explorer, explore to C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator XSimobjectsRotorcraftBell206B2) Make a backup copy of the file titled: aircraft.cfg (so if you screw anything up, you can restore your backup copy of this file.)3) Open the file with Notepad.4) Scroll down to the section marked:CameraDefinition.2Title = "Nose"This is the camera definition for the nose camera in question. In that section, find the line marked:"InitialPbh = "P = pitch, B = Bank, H = Heading5) Insert these values:InitialPbh = -6, 0, 1986) Save the file, exit Flight Simulator and restart FSX.You should now see this view when selecting the Nose camera for the Bell 206B:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/182237.jpgCheers,Kevin
