August 25, 20241 yr Has anyone using Axis and Oh's with streamdeck on MSFS run into an issue where IE vars stopped working? K, L B etc still work but my IE's, which used to work fine, suddenly no longer do. I have restarted everything including the streamdecks, computer, Axis itself. Reinstalled Axis etc. No luck. I am showing connected to the sim and I have the two green dots in the lower right of Axis.

August 25, 20241 yr Author My friend is using the same profile on the same plane with his and its working with the same variables. When I use the Observe Variables in simulator for example IE:ELECTRICAL_ExternalPower_1 in the King Air 350. it stays 0 even when I flip the switch in the plane. Its like Axis is not reading or writing IE's with the sim at all... other vars seem to be working fine.
August 25, 20241 yr Author So... reinstalling Axis didn't fix it. Restarting the sim, pc, stream deck software and hardware didn't fix it... however.. oddly enough... apparently going into dev mode (which I was not messing around in prior to this stopping from working) and going into the behaviors tool and clicking the quick reload tab... seems to of fixed it? I have no idea why that would when nothing else did but at this moment in time, IE's are working again LOL.

Only the executable files are replaced, and if those were broken, the app would not start at all. I haven't seen this happen in 20 years (and generally speaking it can only happen when you have a harddisk fault) 1 hour ago, AceofSpades1086 said: going into dev mode..clicking the quick reload tab. I think that I've heard about that before, but I'm not sure when and where. In any case, that is not something that AAO could solve. Asobo made it so that IEs have their own dedicated "path" in SimConnect. When these methods stop working, then there is nothing AAO can do about it. Edited August 25, 20241 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
August 25, 20241 yr Author I have a planned SSD upgrade and windows/sim reinstall on the horizon here anyway so... if something is broken in the sim hopefully that gets it sorted then. until then.. if it happens again, at least i have a path for fixing it I think 😉
