Hello,

I have noticed sometimes (very randomly) night mode gets activated on the B737 overhead (at night in the SIM) and it has an orange background and orange lettering lights. It basically identically matches what I am seeing in game. Additionally it seems to match the intensity of the knobs when I change it in game. When I activate night mode using the touchspot, I get a completely black background with white letters when the dome light is set to off. The intensity changes when i change the panel brightness knob (and it changes the sim) but not vise versa.

I am not sure how to get it to be the orange/dimmable background with orange letters, but I am very happy when it happens because it works great.

I don't have a screenshot of it because it tends to just happen sometime when I am mid flight. I have it running on a tablet that I have mounted overhead. I am not able to reproduce this on command but next time it happens I will get a screenshot.

Am I missing something?

Have you had a look at the manual regarding the clickspots to activate 'night mode'?

i guess you might be hitting the click spot by accident.

Yes! I am aware of the click spot from the manual. However utilizing the click spot provides the "black background with white lettering" type of illumination when I use it. I will take a screenshot of this to show what I'm seeing when I click the normal click spot.

There is something else that is going on where I'm getting a dim brown background with orange letters (I prefer this because it matches the color theme seen in the sim) and it even responds to changes in the overhead panel brightness knob in the sim... Main thing is that it's brown background with orange lettering. I am not able to reproduce this, it happens randomly, but it's a good thing when it occurs. I will screen shot this next time it happens.

Yes, that's the overhead panel in night mode without the dome light on. If you turn on the dome light, it will illuminate the overhead panel.

Yes, what I have noticed however, there's some time when the color scheme is different instead of black on white, it's brown on orange... Similar to the color of the light in the sim.

I don't know how to reproduce the brown and orange color scheme. It seems to happen randomly, but it more closely matches the way the sim lighting color looks.

The next time I experience the brown and orange color, I will screen shot it and post here.
