The red brake warning that used to appear right above my bottom taskbar is now hidden behind it. If I go to full screen without the taskbar, the message is there at the bottom of the screen. How do I get it to appear above the taskbar again?

Resize and/or move the window?

Do you have Task Bar Always on Top checked in your Windows settings? I don't know if this would cause it but my wife has that checked on her system and it sometimes causes her some grief. R-
