  1. I just installed the scenery and also see the missing roof. Did you find a solution yet?
  2. Looks like I fixed it. I found an old anfs2 traffic file from FS Live in my Addon Scenery/Scenery folder. I deleted it and now all is well. Thanks.
  3. OK, here's where things stand now. I uninstalled MT 6 and then reinstalled it. Everything went fine. I then installed the 6.0a update. I chose the Summer 2015 Schedules and went to Charlotte. Still have all US Airways paints, and they are all still listed as CACTUS in the Traffic Toolbox Explorer. Since everything looks fine as far as my installation, what can I do now to get it to work correctly? Everything always worked fine when I used the old MT 5.4c.
  4. I think I may have a bigger issue. I tried to use the 1965 schedules at Charlotte, and no old planes appear. I still see all the US Airways Airbuses. I checked the 3 big mytraffic bgl files in Scenery, and they were all updated to the time I chose the schedules today. What do I need to to do now?
  5. So, just to verify, 78 would then look like this? Thanks for your help. [fltsim.78] title=A320 MyPaint87 sim=A320 model=FSX-CFM56 texture=My217 atc_airline=AMERICAN atc_parking_types=GATE,RAMP atc_parking_codes=AAL,USA,AWE ui_manufacturer=MT Airbus ui_type=A320 ui_variation=American ex US Airways atc_heavy=0
  6. I think I'll try deleting the fltsim.78 section tomorrow, and that should get rid of the Cactus entry altogether. Still not sure why it's working as is for everyone else though.
  7. I guess it takes quite awhile. But in MT 6, all the airbuses have been changed to American colors. I also see in my Traffic Toolbox, that the flights are showing as Cactus still, which would connect them to the US Airways colors. Somehow I need to change something so the flights are American in ATC, and the colors are American also.
  8. I installed a .dds file viewer, and opened the files. They do show the US Airways colors under fltsim.78 and the American colors under fltsim.217. So the textures are there. For some reason FSX thinks the airbuses should be in US Airways colors instead of American?
  9. For the A320, I have these 2 relevant entries: [fltsim.78] title=A320 MyPaint87 sim=A320 model=FSX-CFM56 texture=My87 atc_airline=CACTUS atc_parking_types=GATE,RAMP atc_parking_codes=USA,AWE ui_manufacturer=MT Airbus ui_type=A320 ui_variation=US Airways 2007 colors atc_heavy=0 [fltsim.217] title=A320 MyPaint217 sim=A320 model=FSX-CFM56 texture=My217 atc_airline=AMERICAN atc_parking_types=GATE,RAMP atc_parking_codes=AAL,USA,AWE ui_manufacturer=MT Airbus ui_type=A320 ui_variation=American ex US Airways atc_heavy=0 The texture files themselves are.dds files and I can't open them or look at them for colors. I wonder if I'm not choosing the Summer, 2015 schedules correctly. Can you tell me how you did it? I'm not using P3D, but I installed things as you did. My Communicator still says 6.0 though, not 6.0a. Burkhard also sees the Amerian colors, except for the CRJ's. Not sure what my problem is?
  10. I have installed MyTraffic 6 and the new 6.0a beta update. This update was supposed to change the US Airways' A319 A320 A321 A332 A333 to the current American Airlines paint and callsign. However, when I go to Charlotte, a US Airways hub, I still see all the old US Airways colors for those types of planes, not American colors. The callsigns are also still Cactus. I've looked at the cfg files for those planes, and the texture files. Looks OK from what I can tell. Can someone tell me how the old colors and call sign can still be showing up, when there are no texture files that point to those colors?
  11. Thanks. I did it a little diiferent - I used the airport backgrounds Flatten Mask Class Map ExcludeAutoGen. This deleted the buildings and trees, and put grass under the whole airport. Your way looks to be the better way though. The main problem I have is drawing the shape of the polygon. I basically come out with a rectangle, that is really too big and shows too much grass. It looks OK, but I know more experienced users can do it more in the shape of the airport. If you would ever have time to help, I can send you my saved airport ADE project file for you to take a look. I'm sure you could draw the polygon better.
  12. This is Alan Laughmiller's KRSW. He did a nice job - I'm just doing a few tweaks to get more familiar with ADE. So removing the gp file did get rid of the red area. The autogen/trees on the airport is a separate, non-related issue. I created an airport background poly to delete the autogen, but now I need to add back some grass, and I'm stumped how to do it.
  13. I created an airport background terrain polygon with ADE to flatten and exclude autogen/trees. I would now like to add back grass in some areas of the airport. I can't figure out how to do it. Some people say use a grass terrain polygon, but I don't know how to create one in ADE. Can someone help?
  14. I understand now that I have to open the airport project file, not the BGL, to see the polygon.
  15. It is someone else's work. There is a GP file, and removing it did get rid of the red area. But it also produced autogen buildings and trees all over the airport.
  16. I'm using an airport developed with ADE, and there is a red pad over one of the aprons. It doesn't show up when looking at the airport in ADE, only in FSX itself. Is there a way to delete this?
  17. I've created an airport terrain polygon in ADE. I saved the airport in ADE projects, and the polygon shows up. But when I complie the airport and open it again in ADE, the polygon is not there. What am I doing wrong?
  18. I fixed the tree and building issue by following these instructions: http://www.simforums.com/forums/addon-scenery-has-black-areas-trees_topic51510&SID=0025528453b4b8b312a2a878634z72836111111.html
  19. That worked! Thank you very much. I am now working with the author to fix the airport poly to mask the trees and some autogen buildings on the north side. Any help you could provide would be appreciated.
  20. I have 3 Textures folders in ADE: Textures_Base_Mipped, Textures_Base_NonMipped, and Textures_Dpy_Base. All 3 have the same file names in them. Not knowing which ones to use, I tried the ones in the Dpy_Base folder. This did not fix the black areas. Can you help?
  21. I will try pasting those textures in. Could you possibly fix the airport poly, or would the author have to do it?
  22. It appears you have the same black areas I circled in my screenshots above, but you have no trees. They appear to be autogen coming thru the ramp. The black areas must be missing textures in the scenery design install file.
  23. This is Allen Laughmiller's KRSW scenery from 11-12-14. It is very accurate - if I could only solve the black areas and extra trees.
  24. This is legitimate scenery, and I have discussed with the author. I have uploaded screenshots in my post here. Any thoughts? http://www.simforums.com/forums/addon-scenery-has-black-areas-trees_topic51510.html
  25. I installed addon scenery for an airport, and there are black areas on the ground in various shapes. I have other versions of this airport in the Scenery Library, but I only select one at a time. The author thinks my other versions of this airport are causing interference and creating the black areas. Any ideas how to fix this?
