Build for MSFS 2024

Featured Replies

That looks like a great build for MSFS24.  I have the same except a 4070 ti and only 32MB ram.  The only thing you might consider changing is the CPU.  Because MS is suggesting the Ryzen 9 7900X, I'm thinking the new game is going to be more reliant on CPU cores.  Ryzen 9 7900X has 12 cores where the Ryzen 7 7800X3D only has 8.

my specs are the following, however do you think going to a 5900X CPU Ryzen 9 would benefit with more cores and higher speed with MSFS24? Even though it does not have the extra cache memory

Asus Tuf Gaming B550 Plus
Asus Ryzen 7 5800X3D
Asus Geforce 4080 RTX OC Edition
64GB DDR4 Ram 3600Mhz
EVGA 850W Power Supply
1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4
Gigabyte M27Q Pro Monitor 240Hz
Windows 10

Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)

Since we really don't know how the game is going to run on different systems yet, personally, I would wait to do anything.  Run the game on your current system and then determine if anything needs an upgrade.  That's my plan anyway.
