Mouse freelock not working at all

Featured Replies

Hello,

Looking for some help on an issue im having with MSFS2020.

I loaded the game a few days ago and I am no longer able to pan around the cockpit whatsoever. I used to be able to right click the mouse and it would allow me to pan round, then release the button and it would stop in the area I've moved to.

Now however, I am unable to even pan around the cockpit at all. All the camera does is slowly meander around the cockpit aimlessly to one side. When I right click the mouse it briefly seems to go into freelock but will not move anywhere.

I've tried a few searches of the web and have tried fixes such as changing the profile of my throttle quadrant which briefly allowed me to freelock around the cockpit when i right clicked mouse, however when I would let go it would just immediately revert back to the origional camera view. This eventually stopped working altogether and I was back at square one.

I've tried adjusting the mouse sensitivity which did absolutely nothing (through MSFS).

I've tried duplicating the mouse profile which again did absolutely nothing.

Have also tried re-installing the whole game.

Any help on issue would be appreciated as it's rendered my simulator absolutely useless.

Mine is the default wheel button...

My neighbour fixed the problem  I had stick shift occurring through my thrustmaster yoke so unassigned the hat key on my yoke from control settings and it's working fine now.
