FSX SP2 with Vista SP1 RC1

Featured Replies

Im running FSX SP2 (Acceleration) on a Vista 64 machine. No major problems. Everything working fine. I read about SP1 release candidate 1 for Vista (64 & 32) and was wondering if anyone has tried it yet and what effects it may have on FSX (Good or bad). I know if its running fine, I should leave it alone, but I am tempted to try it anyhow. Just wondered if anyone else has tried it yet.Rob

I loaded it when it was first offered and have had no problems in FSX. I have Vista Ultimate x64 and Acceleration Pack installed in FSX. In all honesty, I don't see a big difference in SP1 RC1 from the RTM version of Vista, though there's probably a lot going on under the hood that's transparent to the end user.Regards,Jim Karn
