October 4, 20241 yr Hi, running the last version 3.09 - following question / issue with littlenavconnect: In my sim all machines are starting and shutting down unattended. So, nobody closes littlenavconnect manually. Win 10 closes it at shutdown. So, when I start next time, I get the message "... did not exit cleanly the last time." asking for YES or NO decision. Bit I cannot do that on an unattended startup without keyboard / mouse. Would be great, having a commandline parameter to ignore such a message box, and start littlenavconnect anyway in a minimized config. Thx a lot and best regards Hans Edited October 4, 20241 yr by B747-400
October 4, 20241 yr Minimized is already implemented in Navconnect. You can start it into the system tray: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavconnect/release/3.0/en/MENU.html#minimize-to-system-tray About the shutdown message: I cannot test it right now but have a look at the latest release candidate: I fixed the shutdown behavior and this might affect Navconnect too. October 4, 20241 yr Author Thanks Alex for your fast response! Still using the "start into systems" feature. In some tests the window popped up nevertheless - but this seems to be my rough handling while testing. Nothing to be worried about. I'll give the RC a try after the weekend. THX for this helpful hint! Enjoy your WE as well! Hans
October 4, 20241 yr This from the Navconnect changelog might help too: Quote * New command line option `-q` / `--quit` to terminate an already running instance. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
October 4, 20241 yr Meh. Just tested and neither Navconnect nor Navmap exit cleanly on Windows shutdown in 3.0.10.rc1. Not good. Will fix. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
October 6, 20241 yr That's related to my request here: https://github.com/albar965/littlenavmap/issues/1048 It would be great if littlenavconnect would terminate cleanly when it receives SIGTERM. Btw. I am using the -q command line switch now in my automation, but it is a workaround IMHO. Thank you big time for your dedication to Little Navmap!

Ctrl+C on Linux should be no problem at all. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
