I've just moved to a RX 7900 XT GPU, still with the G2. This is my first AMD.

The good news is that AMD fluid motion frame 2 is working in VR, which double Fps!

I'm still using OXRTK mainly for the foveated rendering, and would like to avoid it's embedded motion reprojection (which I think is conflicting with fluid motion frame).

Problem in this case, AMD fps target is not working in VR. How can I cap and synch Fps ?

I'm looking for stable and stutter free VR experience, more than high Fps.

Hi Roland,

Open Adrenaline, click "Gaming", then "Graphics" and thereunder you will find "Radeon Chill". Set both minimum and maximum values to the maximum value of your preferred frame rate. I always set mine 3 FPS lower than my monitor's refresh rate, example:

Monitor's refresh rate is 144Hz, thus minimum for Chill is 141 and maximum for Chill is 141.

Actually is works, I had to restart the whole sim, not only VR and WMR. I'm now looking for something like a VSynch to the headset frames.

I was wrong saying that AMD FMF2 increases Fps in VR.

For Fps cap, I found that "Fps throttling" in OXRTK is working fine (available only if motion reprojection is off).

The bad I think I'm unable to solve currently with the AMD is when I enable motion reprojection, I have terrible shimmering on cockpit (all near 3D objects), so unusable.
