Our marketing department decided to get involved and has changed the features and naming of the two Condor versions.
Pro is now called Condor 3 XC.
The LX9070 is now included in the Condor 3 Std version.
Condor 3 XC gives you:-
Bugwipers:
Competition planes have bugwipers to clear accumulated bugs from the wings and increase performance
Hawk vario:
The Total Energy vario in Condor measures static and dynamic pressure to compute the total energy. When the glider flies through a turbulent airmass, wind gusts are interpreted as energy gains and the TEC vario becomes more nervous and often shows lift where there is none.
The Hawk vario algorithm in Condor XC combines inputs from the weather and physics engine to eliminate the unwanted effects of horizontal wind gusts and gives a fast and accurate measure of climb rate. This gives more precise information on when to stop for circling and helps to center thermals more efficiently.
Live Wind:
This shows the actual wind direction the glider is flying through. When close to a thermal this helps with indicating when to turn, and in which direction for faster centering.
Flarm targets:
These are displayed on the Condor flight computer or the LX9000 so you can see where other pilots are circling and their climb rate.

Don't forget !!!!

Release date is October 26 !!!

I'll buy the "XC" version, not only to support their project but because the features are simply astounding !!!

Now that it has been released I'm able to start testing the XC version I purchased day 1 🙂

Took quite a while to download, and their servers were probably not expecting such a level of adherence from simmers, but it's now tuned up in terms of their store and download process.

This is, again, after 22 years for the initial release and 2018 for v1, the Best!!! soaring flight simulator currently supported and under active development.

The more than 6 years that v3 took to develop were surely worth the wait because the small, but talented team, made way to some great features we were asking for, in pretty much all areas, including flight dynamics fine tunning, weather model which is now absolutely second to no other flight simulator I know of, instrumentation - Hawk compensated variometer and LsNav 9070 flight computer and display, task definition parameters, etc...

A few videos start to become available in youtube, just as this short one of a flight into a storm:
