October 17, 20241 yr After your excellent post regarding the Ifly I was able to add all I needed.... I surprised even myself LOL (I now see Guensli has released his profile..so its way easier for others going forward ) Is there any way to increase the speed of the MInimums knob while still retaining the ability for fine control.. In other words if I want 837 for example, to get to 800's quickly (it takes forever going 1 foot at a time) but still be able to make it 837 with fine enough control.. I hope that makes sense !..I use the Behringer X touch .. Thanks in advance

Meaning, they don't "do" anything, they just hold a value. The only way that this control scheme can work (IMHO) is when a process inside the plane logic continuously monitors these LVars to see if they change their value, and then reacts on that by triggering the aircraft system and the button/lever/whatever animation. This process will have to have a fixed refresh rate that you have no control over, and that refresh rate will determine how many changes can be made to the same LVar per second. Long story short, I am very sure that there is a hard limit to how often a knob can be "clicked" per second. And due to the way that the LVars work here, you can't give them a bigger value either, to make larger changes. You can try the "roll" and "fast turn" options in the AAO button assignments, but I doubt that they will have any usable effect. (by contrast, actual events, like 1 (>K:something), are essentially handled by the sim like messages. No input is lost, they stack up, so all events that you send to the sim will be processed at some point) Edited October 17, 20241 yr by Lorby_SI LORBY-SI
