Possible workaround for errors downloading A380X

After installing the new FlyByWire Installer for the A380X download, I still had constantly recurring error messages relating to a timeout.  I assumed this was because of server overload.  

On a whim I decided to switch from my 100mbps fibre connection to a slower wifi router I use mainly when travelling, and it connected, downloaded and installed the A380X on the first attempt.  I'm not sure if this was pure chance or not, but perhaps some technically informed member might comment? 

In any case if you are constantly receiving an error message and can access a different speed router, it might be worth a try?
