need trim help in 2020

Placing this here - rather than Hardware - where it might get missed

I need help with a problem I have been struggling with all day on the PC

every aircraft I try -appears with the trim wheel "shuddering" and the trim tab - fixed in the trim down position

This appears on all aircraft whether community addon - or marketplace aircraft  - with community removed

It occurs on alpha - beta - and X 56 stick - with each one separated at usb input.

close computer and open - or restart  - doesn't help

any ideas ??

Definitely sounds like a stuck switch / button, or your trim down command somehow got bound to a latching switch that is turned on.

I'd check every controller you have plugged in for any bindings related to trim, and delete all of them except your trim switch or axis that you use.

If there's nothing else bound to the trim command, it sounds like your hardware trim switch or axis might have failed.  Load up, get into the position where you can watch your trim stuck fully deflected and vibrating, and start unplugging controllers.  At some point it will probably stop vibrating and you'll have found the offending piece of hardware, anyway.

Thanks mate - it was a conflict with the X 56 throttle set - but now I need to stop it slowly resetting
