Steam 2020 to 2024 MS store?

Hi, folks. I know this will have been asked but try as I might, I'm not finding this question using the search function.

I own the Steam version of 2020 but am considering the MS store version of 2024. I would assume, since the actual Microsoft account used to access the sim is the same, that in-sim store purchases I made in 2020 within Steam will carry over to the MS store version of 2024 but I can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere. Does anyone know, please?

To answer my own question: yes! Have installed it on Gamepass and my purchases have now transferred.
