I usually fly low and slow but I've been toying with the A320 neo v2 in 24 over the last couple of days. Sim is normally buttery smooth for me at 7680x2160 (DLSS, quality). But, my goodness, the stutters in amongst the smoothness while trying airlines! Anyway, after much hair pulling, I came to this thread, and can confirm removing the rolling cache appears to have fixed the issue. Thank you to whoever originally shared the tip.

Same here. 4090, i9 12900k, 64gb. And that's at 7680x2160. I should add I use DLSS (quality) and frame generation. Everything on max settings bar object detail and level of detail which are both still at the default setting. I think it's 200 for the latter, can't remember the former.

To answer my own question: yes! Have installed it on Gamepass and my purchases have now transferred.

Hi, folks. I know this will have been asked but try as I might, I'm not finding this question using the search function. I own the Steam version of 2020 but am considering the MS store version of 2024. I would assume, since the actual Microsoft account used to access the sim is the same, that in-sim store purchases I made in 2020 within Steam will carry over to the MS store version of 2024 but I can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere. Does anyone know, please? Thank you! And to those who'll be a bit cross at this question presumably being asked yet again, I apologise wholeheartedly 😁

Yeah. £118 for the Aviator edition. Only downside is I'd prefer it on Steam. Will meditate on it.

This has had me flummoxed for about half an hour now... grr! When I switch to the wide angle cockpit view in the C172 G1000 standard variant, the view appears to be broken. It's somewhere in the roof of the cockpit which is somewhat suboptimal. Here's the view (images are clickable): And here's the correct wide angle cockpit view in any other variation of the aeroplane (eg skis, floats): I've tried resetting to default but it makes no difference. I've also tried copying across the cameras.cfg from one of the other variants but that also makes no difference. Anyone know how to fix this, please?

It won't be an update - an upgrade, if you will -, it will be a new product and one that existing DLC is highly unlikely to be compatible with.

I bought the treescapes, too. Pleased to see someone else thought the installation was ludicrous, too! I must admit I'd really only be interested in buying Revolution X if it runs on P3D V2. I can't see why it wouldn't be portable.

Do you have Opus FSX? If so, did you tinker with any of the Track IR files to use Opus FSX?

Problem as title. When I click on the voice box on the main FS2Crew panel, it says 'on' briefly before disappearing again. I am using the UK English speech recognition software in Windows 8.1 and cannot switch to US English since there simply is no option for it. I wonder if this is causing the problem?

There was a screenshot posted somewhere but I believe it's a one-liner in the top right corner.

From that list, absolutely Horizon's scenery, provided you like photographic scenery, of course. If not, from what I've read, the ORBX scenery would be a good bet.

Yes, I understand that. But there's no harm in offering the ability to use current weather and tweak how you see fit. AS affords users the opportunity to do so, OpusFSX sadly doesn't. It matters to me, I guess it doesn't to you or the developer. It was only £30 at the end of day, not the end of the world.
