RAM frequency and performance question

Hello all!

I built this PC for flight simming:

it’s a high end build that’s made me interested in learning about gaming performance and whatnot.

Question I have is about RAM frequency as it relates to performance. In P3Dv5.4, I see no difference in performance between 4800 MT/s and 6000 MT/s (achieved via AMD EXPO). 

I don’t understand whether this is because my CPU and GPU are already fast enough to not need faster RAM, or if it’s P3D related? (Does P3D not need 6000 MT/s in order to be as fast as it can get?)

Any thoughts would be helpful! I’ll certainly have more PC related flight sim questions in the near future! 🙂
