ALVR+Vision Pro worked on MSFS 2020, but not on MSFS 2024

I have ALVR+Vision Pro worked perfectly with MSFS 2020, but it now shows "No headset is detected" when switching to VR with MSFS 2024. The combo is fine with other VR titles, and I have seen other people reporting success with ALVR + Vision Pro + MSFS 2024. I am going mad figuring it out. Can anyong shed any light on this? Thank you!

I figured out the solution. Enter Steam VR setup, change the runtime from VDXR to openxr, and it's all set.

PS: MSFS 2024 on Vision Pro is incredible.
