Germany POI Part IV

Featured Replies

This is part 4 of the tour exploring the latest POI in Germany.

We start our journey in Leipheim (Z11l) and head west to see Ulm, famous for its towering Ulm Minster, the tallest church in the world. After that, we land in Laichingen (EDPJ). Next up, we soar over the beautiful Swabian Alp and touch down at Hahnweide (EDST). Every two years, this airfield hosts a massive vintage plane gathering with pilots from all over Europe and beyond. Nearby, you'll find the stunning Lichtenstein Castle, a 13th-century marvel that was beautifully restored, beginning in the 1850s.

We then land at Farrenberg (EDNN) and continue west to check out the impressive Neckar Valley Bridge. After that, we head to Eutingen (EDTE) and follow the Nagold River north. We fly over Pforzheim before landing in Bruchsal (EDTC). Just a short hop from there is Mannheim, where we land at the City Airport (EDFM). Then, we turn northeast and explore the Odenwald region, touching down in Michelstadt (EDFO). We want to land at runway 26 due to a 4-degree slope. From Michelstadt, we head north to the bustling Frankfurt Metropolitan Region and land at Egelsbach (EDFE), Germany's busiest General Aviation Airport. We then take a sightseeing tour over Frankfurt, admiring its many iconic landmarks. Our final stop is Reichelsheim (EDFB).

The flight has 200 miles and 8 landings. We want to cruise at 160 knots. I will be in the Cessna 337, please fly what you like.

The flight plans can be downloaded here.
