FSx - average/high/low FPS counter

Featured Replies

There was an entry that could be put into the FS9.cfg file Ave_Frame_Rate_Display=1 that showed the full information regarding FPS - highs. lows. average ( but most importantly) the %variation around the average. It doesn't seem to work in FSx Does anybody know anything of this please?Regards Barry

Read all about Shift-Z options here:http://www.fsinsider.com/freeflight/Pages/...ingShift-Z.aspxIn your case you need to add 'AverageFrameRate' followed by the appropriate numbers (which tell FSX on which row to show the info and at what spot) to one of the TextInfo entries in the FSX.cfg. Or simply replace all of them with the one you need. For example, if you only want the average framerate and nothing more, it should look like this:TextInfo.1AverageFrameRate=1,1(TextInfo.1 has to be typed between brackets, but when I type them here in this topic, they let the text disappear...)
