A Glimpse Of The Future

Featured Replies

Well that is how I see FSX when I look at it running on my computer.Hopefully in the future when computers are advanced enough to run FSX at (well for me anyway)an acceptable level.I have installed, uninstalled, reinstalled, tweaked, patched, spent hours moving sliders, but all to no avail..The funny thing is I am getting up and sometimes beyond 60 fps but when I look at the sim running it reminds me of a pigeon walking,if you get what I mean.I spent 5000 euro on a state of the art computer for FSX, but all is not lost because at least FS9 is running like a thouroughbred racehorse.I will say that when I fly the default planes,it performs fairly ok, but as I prefer add ons like PMDG WILCO etc plus a bit of traffic and real world weather, the pigeon returns.I still keep FSX on my machine, just to treat myself to a tste of things to come.I reckon 5 years down the road when I envisage changing my computer again,FSX will no longer be that pigeon, but a thouroughbred race horse.
