Default Tree improvements

Featured Replies

I have been using Bijans trees for MSFS2024 (and 2020 before that). An excellent mod that I would recommend to everybody. However, there is one thing that I do not like about Bijans and Global Trees by Taburet - trees are often very sparse with big gaps between trees (in winter especially), so trees in the satellite imagery can be clearly seen.  I don't like this effect because things that should be hidden behind the trees are clearly seen.  For me this reduces realism.

Now SU1 beta is available, I tried default trees and was mightily impressed.  Tree size is better plus winter trees are far more numerous so the underlying trees in the satellite imagery are less visible.

Give default trees a go and let us know your thoughts.

In my city Alicante I have been able to finally see my house, I am talking about an 11-storey building, but in general the city remains the same with giant trees.

Outside the city bijan does its magic and is much more realistic than the jungle proposed by the PG of MFS. I guess the results will depend a lot on the area where you come from I'm still waiting for an add-on like global forest v2 from Xplane for MFS.
