A2A C182 L:Eng1_ManifoldPressure and L:Eng1_GPH not updating

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Cross-posting this here in the off chance someone has seen this before (the non-MSFS A2A forums see very little activity these days).

I'm trying to setup an Air Manager panel for the A2A C182, and I'm having trouble with the manifold pressure / fuel flow gauge.  The A2A L:Eng1_ManifoldPressure and L:Eng1_GPH LVars seem to update once, but with garbage values (ie: 0.000295 inHg and 1.0 GPH, respectively).  Other A2A C182-specific LVars are updating just fine (regular intervals, sane values).

I can see updates on the standard SimConnect variables ENG MANIFOLD PRESSURE:1 and ENG FUEL FLOW GPH:1, but the values for these determined by the sim are on some other scale / unit of measurement / entirely wrong (perhaps computed internally by P3D, but based on different piston engine characteristics).

Anyone seen this before?  I poked around in the panel XML files (code_c182t_m.xml and code_c182t_r.xml) for the A2A C182, and I can't really determine where the manifold pressure and fuel flow LVars originate from, how they're computed, etc.

This is actually looking more like an Air Manager vs. P3Dv5 problem;  during subsequent testing, the problem randomly spread to other A2A LVars (that were consistently working properly before).

The SPAD.neXt data monitor shows correct values/updates;  the Air Manager Data Viewer does not:
