Dual Saitek Throttle Quadrants in FS2024

I use two Saitek TQs in order to get 6 axes for twin engine aircraft e.g., two throttles, two props and two mixtures levers. 
I am having trouble in FS2024 getting the sim to keep control assignments for the two TQs independent.
Any advice appreciated.
