When flying FSX I get annoying short pauses when everything freezes for split seconds and despite changing my settings cannot fix it.I am using a Nvidea 8800 video card and have a 2.60 AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core processor with FSX on a 150GB hard drive with 50GB still unused, 600 watt power. I have Accelerator, GLOBAL8 and AUBLUE scenery installed in FSX. I have no trouble with FS 2004 on another drive.Can anyone please suggest how to fix this problem.

I had a similar problem. In my case it was the auto-save feature of FSUIPC that was causing the stutters - when I disabled that, the stutters disappeared.
