February 21, 20251 yr In FS2020, my display settings include TAA, Frame Generation, V-SYNC, 100% Monitor Refresh Rate (60Hz), and DX12 Beta. When I try to set up the same settings in FS2024 I can't turn V-SYNC on -- why is that? Thanks, Al
February 21, 20251 yr Because you have FG on. You can turn it on in Nvidia control panel. i7-13700KF @ 5.3GHz 32.0GB DDR5 @ 5600 RTX 3080 65" LG OLED @ 4k

OK, so apparently FG on does not prevent setting V-sync on in FS2020, but does in FS2024 when directly using the sim's graphical settings. Does Nvidia Control Panel distinguish between FS2020 and FS2024? Thanks, Al

Thanks, Al You need to chose it in program settings, not in global settings. i7-13700KF @ 5.3GHz 32.0GB DDR5 @ 5600 RTX 3080 65" LG OLED @ 4k

All I see in the Nvidia Control Panel program dropdown is Microsoft Flight Simulator, I don't see anything that distinguishes between FS2020 and FS2024. So I guess the settings for Microsoft Flight Simulator apply to both. The Nvidia Profile Inspector also does not distinguish between FS2020 and FS2024 as far as I can tell. I think my Nvidia apps are up to date. However, I am not using the latest Nvidia driver for my RTX 4070 Ti Super. Thanks, Al Edited February 21, 20251 yr by ark
