Voice Recognition freezing Axis and Ohs

Featured Replies

For 3 of the last 4 days when I push the toggle voice rec button I have binded to my controller, it will not activate voice recognition and it freezes axis and ohs.  It will eventually respond again but the voice recognition will not activate.  It worked perfectly until 4 days ago and weirdly it was working fine again 2 days ago but only that day.  I'm thinking some kind of an update messed it but not where to sure where to start troubleshooting.  I have tried using different buttons but that does not change what happens.  Thanks for any help.

? That sounds really weird.

Just to rule out the obvious, I would look at the Device Blacklist in AAO. Go to "Hardware->Device Blacklist" and move everything into the list on the right with the "Ignore" button that isn't a "pure" game controller that you are using in AAO. HID-Devices, mice, keyboards, they all have to be ignored. Leave only your joystick/yoke/TQ/rudder in the list on the left.

Other than that - don't really know. What kind of "Update"? Windows? AAO is using Windows speech recognition engine, so it is not impossible that something is wrong there. Check if Windows speech recognition is still working normally without AAO.
