New computer brings FSX to life!!

Featured Replies

I bought a new computer recently and it really changed my mind about FSX. I knew the computer would help some, but I never thought it would to this degree. I'm flying heavies now with frames locked at 25 and very smooth. I was previously looking forward to FS11, but I'm now very content as I'm just discovering all the goodness in FSX. I went from a P4 2.66Ghz, 1 gig Ram, nVidia 6600, Windows XP and replaced it with a Q9300 2.5Ghz, 4 Gigs of Ram, 8800 GT OC and Vista 64-bit (only $1,099 at BB). If you dislike FSX and have some available cash, I'd recommend some new hardware! Curt
