April 4, 20251 yr In DCS world, dynamic FR almost doubles fps. In msfs2024 the fps went from 30 to 40 with DFR off/ on (nowhere near as much improvement). In msfs2024 fps in regular (non dynamic, no eye tracking) FR went from 30 to 35 or so. Therefore a VR headset with eye tracking (Pimax Super, BBB 2) is not such a big deal in msfs2024, but is a big deal in DCS. The BBB2 without eye tracking is $200 cheaper than the same BBB2 with eye tracking ($1019 vs. $1219) (you also need a Steam Valve base station for either model ($175). 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
