Marketplace Sanctioned Liveries Whack Out Aircraft?

***FOR ME. MY EXPERIENCE OF JUST TODAY.  ANNECTDOTAL FOR NOW***

Been flying 2024 since day one.  I’m very familiar and capable with both the default Neo and Max.  Have been flying them successfully for many weeks now. Both work as expected.  Nominal.

Got tired of the default liveries and noted that today on MP it had official “2024” liveries for both planes.  Bought and installed both. Could not be easier or quicker, just enable and poof! installed.  No reboot needed.  

Flew the Max first. Chose a purty Frontier skin and departed on a 20 min quick hop.  KPDX to KSEA. Air time around 20 min.  My standard test flight, it has me coming in to a RWY 34C ILS. I’ve done maybe quite a few dozen in both planes.  Home base and all.  Anyway first anomaly was my WINWING gear was gone south, or so it seemed.  Mobiflight is my controller of choice but I use the Winwing software too, but not in the Max.  Communications between WINWING and plane were so funky I just turned it off and used the Virtual Cockpit controls. Ok, staying ahead of the aircraft now.  Everything great for a perfect approach/landing.  Solid at 2400 FAF ALT 1 mile prior.  Approach armed, localizer locked, Glideslope alive and coming to center.  Then the plane  anticlimactically flies thru FAF at 2400.  Missed approach!  I fly the V2 Neo next. More of the same". Wearing new MP skin, same flight, kinda exactly the same experience.  Winwing gear and software and all the failures, and guess what?  It too blew right thru FAF at 2400, Missed Approach, two in a row!

So I disabled both sets of those MP sanctioned livery packages.  It’s as quick and easy as installing them.  takes all of five seconds, no reboot needed.  Loaded up the V2 Neo first and whadda you know!  Flawless flight both for both Winwing and Glideslope capture to full autoland.

For me disabling the MP liveries restores normal ops,  if you are having issues with any plane and have aftermarket liveries try disabling the liveries first.  It just may solve your problem.  It did mine.
