Quest BETA version 1.34.1 - Release Notes 4/26/2025

@everyone To participate in this Beta, you will need to:

1. Click the 3 dots on the Virtual Desktop icon in your headset, then click Settings, Release channels and select the BETA channel.

2. You will also need to manually download the Beta Streamer from the link below:

• Added 2-Pass encoding option with Nvidia GPUs in Streamer window, Options tab (applies to 10-bit codecs)

• Added bitrate fixed foveation on 10-bit codecs with Nvidia GPUs (previously was only with H.264/H.264+)

• Added FOV Tangent sliders in a new Advanced tab in the Streamer window • Added option to disable FOV Stencil (only use when recording the mirror view)

• Added headset charging status in the menu and fixed it in SteamVR

• Reverted recent HEVC 10-bit change with AMD (it caused issues in some scenarios)

• Added Kaspersky to interfering apps list

• Added Cmd+Q shortcut to exit the Streamer on macOS

• Added ability to rotate monitors in VR with macOS Sequoia
