Hi Dobee51, thanks for this. The problem is that I don't seem to have any faulty dll in the event viewer. And I dont use the nvidia app either. But ill try. Thanks

Thank you all for the support. Much appreciated. My exe.xml is exactly like the one shown.

Ok, but are you sure your exe.xml is not corrupt?

Have you tried moving your exe.xml to a temporary location, and see if the sim boots?

Hi, I tried to remove the exe, yes, and the sim boots no problem. But the TDS GTNxi doesn't start which is normal then.

I also deleted the exe, run a repair of MSFS 2024 to let the sim recreate the exe, uninstall / reinstall the TDS GTN. And the TDS rewrites the EXE with its entries.

I have tried something else yesterday, I used the compatibility trouble shooter included in the properties of the various exe comming with the TDS GTN application (the GTN .exe and the trainers exe). What is happening now is that when I start the sim, the TDS logo doesn't appear anymore and the GTNxi do not launch at all. I have to manually launch it after the sim starts. But I will live it there. I tried multiple reinstalls of the TDS after this compatibility troubleshooting and now it is still the same. Even with a fresh install, the tds won't launch when sim launches even with the Exe.xml correctly showing the TDS info. I guess this duie to some kind of registry entries which remembers to run these programs a particular way. And that's ok. Most impotantly is to fly and not troubleshoot. That's too bad I can't get it to work like it is supposed to work, but I'll move on.

That's true -- it's always better to fly and not troubleshoot.

So returning your vidcard to its stock speed didn't solve it?

I'd also try a different driver version.
