August 27, 200817 yr For some reason my lake's all look below ground level like a deepsink hole.Anyone have a idea what is wrong here.thanks for the help.
August 27, 200817 yr Hi,You may rule GEX out. You'll find UTX support forum here:http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_topics.asp?FID=19Do all lakes all over USA have this error or is it only at a specific area? Do you have the same problems with rivers? A picture with coordinates could help.Do you have some custom mesh add on installed? If so, disable it and see if the errors remain.Ulf B
August 27, 200817 yr Author I noticed this effect on the Saltin Sea (Palm Springs, CA) and also at least one airport. This is after installing UTX, GEX and FS Genesis.
August 27, 200817 yr Commercial Member As noted by the other poster, you should head over to the Ultimate Terrain forum which is the official support forum for the product. As for the issue you report with the Salton Sea, this was fixed many months ago in the first 1.1 update to UTX USA. You should make sure that you download and install all the available updates (there have been three since the initial release of UTX USA) which are available on the Scenery Solutions Ultimate Terrain X Downloads for FSX web-page at http://www.scenerysolutions.com/ut_downloads_FSX.htmlJeff
August 27, 200817 yr Author Thank you Jeff. I don't buy many addons, and those that I do I wait till long after their release in hopes that any problems have been corrected so that I don't have to mess around with patches. In this case I just recently purchased these programs only to find out that UTX has 3 patches that weren't included. More than a little irritating. But thank you very much for enlightening me!!Bruce
