Phil Taylor, or any developer: a switch to turn BLOOM on/off in realtime?

@ AkeldemaUK:I hope your wish comes true!Older thinking put the level of detail (LOD) in a cylinder. No matter how high the aircraft goes, the radius of the level of detail remains the same, with respect to the aircraft's position over the ground. Put another way, the radius of the LOD is constant to a point on the ground that is always directly below the aircraft. Newer thinking puts the radius of the level of detail as a constant radius to the aircraft itself. This would create a speherical LOD. It would take more calculation to figure out what would be seen in higher detail, but less calculation in actually showing things that don't need to be high detail. If the aircraft goes high up, its speherical LOD radius may no longer intersect the gorund, and you would not see high detail objects from 30,000 feet. Maybe the newer idea will be implemented in FS11, but that's still some time away from now. There might be a brighter, better idea in the future than a spherical LOD that solves the issue.
