PSXT and P3D V4

Featured Replies

Hello and first of all thank you for all the implication in developing this area,

I saw that PSXT_P3D is not working for P3D V4, only V5 and V6. As I already have a 2 flight simulators A320Neo and B737-800NG based on Prepar3D V4, it would be really usefull to integrate again your Application with V4. Is there any way to make it work again with V4? It is really hard to upgrade the Prepar3D to v5 or v6 because there are a lot changes that I have to do for this.

I would love to make your app work again with V4.

Thank you a lot!

Hi Catalin,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, support for P3D v4 is no longer possible. I'm already maintaining compatibility with four different simulators, and the user base for P3D v4 has become very small.

I hope you understand.

Best regards,
Nico

Hi Nico,

Thank you for your reply!

We managed to update to Prepar3D V5 and is working all fine if you are using Single Player Mode and an airplane as a vehicle as you said in the description. But as I already told you before, we have B737 and A320 sims and we using them in Multiplayer mode. When we try to inject real traffic using the app in multiplayer mode is not working.

Is there something we can do about it? Please let me know if there is anything that I can help you with.

Thank you!

Have a  nice day,

Catalin

Hi,

I have had a look at P3Dv6, but indeed, PSXT only support single player mode. I have never looked at the multi player option together with RT. However, since P3D is becoming a niche market for PSXT, I don't think I'll put effort in it.

Or you must see an easy implementation?

For RT to send traffic to the Sim it needs a (one) user aircraft. The position of the user aircraft determines the area where traffic is being injected.

Regards,

Nico
