FS2020 Strange Sound effecs in cockpit

I just loaded up FS2020 after a long time because a new hardware product I just purchased works better in FS2020 than in Fs2024.  When in my cockpit I am hearing strange screeching and clicking sounds.  Does anyone know what causes this and how to get rid of them.  It is so annoying, i quit and used FS2024.  My new product is the Desktop Pilot Fuel Tank Select.  In FS2024 the control bindings limit it to the Cessna 172 and Reims Rocket 172XP and in FS2020 bindings work in all aircraft. I like 2024 more but am willing to use 2020 with my other aircraft.  These noises make it impossible for me to use this simulator.
